Santiago Bernabéu Stadium: Real Madrid stadium tour (Tour Bernabéu), tickets and opening hours

Updated on October 1, 2026

The Santiago Bernabéu has been Real Madrid's home ground since it opened on 14 December 1947, on the Paseo de la Castellana in the Chamartín business district. Extensively remodelled in recent years, it is now wrapped in a façade of steel strips and topped with a retractable roof. The Tour Bernabéu, the club's official visit, is self-guided at your own pace: museum and trophy room, panoramic view of the stadium interior, dressing rooms and dugouts. It is one of the most visited sights in Madrid, open every day except 25 December and 1 January.

Highlights

The new Bernabéu

The new Bernabéu

The transformation replaced the old concrete façade with a steel skin that shimmers in the light and added a retractable roof. The tour tells the story of this makeover, from 1947 to the present day, with an audiovisual show. A surprising detail: the pitch is stored underground in its maintenance area and only comes up to the surface for matches.

The museum and trophy room

The museum and trophy room

The Real Madrid museum, now spread over several floors, presents the club's history and honours: the FIFA trophy for the best club of the 20th century, the 15 European Cups, 9 Intercontinental Cups, 36 Spanish league titles and 20 Copas del Rey, according to the club. One area is dedicated to Real Madrid's women's team.

The panoramic view

From the top of the stands you can take in the whole arena and its new roof at a glance. During the visit, equipment may be set up on the pitch because of the events held in the stadium.

The dressing rooms and dugouts

The route passes through the first-team dressing room and ends pitch-side, on the players' benches. Depending on availability, the press room is also included.

Tips

Classic tickets from 37 € online (40 € at the ticket office), Classic Hora Flexible (entry at any time of your chosen day) from 44 € (47 € at the ticket office), guided tour from 56 € (59 € at the ticket office) and Classic + RM Games from 59 € (62 € at the ticket office). Children pay from age 5 and must be accompanied by an adult (prices checked in October 2026 on the official Real Madrid website). Tickets are valid only for the chosen date and time, with no exchanges or refunds: buy online and show the code on your phone directly at the Avenida de Concha Espina entrance. On match days, the Tour (museum and panoramic view) is only available until 5 hours 30 minutes before kick-off, and the dressing rooms and dugouts are closed the day before and on the day of the match. Kick-off times are often confirmed only 2 to 3 weeks in advance, so check the fixture list before booking. The route includes many flights of stairs: visitors with reduced mobility can access the museum and the panoramic view, but not the dressing rooms or dugouts. There is no left-luggage area for suitcases or pushchairs, and only one entry is allowed. Photos and videos are allowed throughout, including in the museum.
