Our ranking
- Círculo de Bellas Artes: the fullest view, but paid entry and a queue at sunset.
- Cibeles viewpoint: no bar, but the best price and a clear view along Alcalá and Gran Vía.
- San Antón: the quietest, good for lunch.
- Callao: the handiest if you are already on Gran Vía.
What to avoid
- Turning up at the Círculo at sunset without a ticket; between 14:00 and 16:00 and after 21:00, tickets are sold at the desk only.
- Counting on the Cibeles viewpoint in bad weather: it can close.
