The list comes from the Mirador Madrid guide (June 2022) and hotel listings; prices not dated this month are not reliable. Cheaper options exist, such as Hostal Santo Domingo in Maravillas, with a superior double with jacuzzi from about 73 EUR according to the same guide.
Hotel pick: Meliá Madrid Princesa (Booking listing read 3 November 2026): near Plaza de España, with an indoor pool; the hydromassage bath is in specific categories (Gran Doble Premium, The Level). Limit: no parking, and the jacuzzi depends on the exact room type you book.
Hotel pick: Hotel Fénix Gran Meliá (Booking listing read 3 November 2026): Hermosilla 2, in Salamanca next to Plaza de Colón; the hydromassage bath is in the Gran Premium Red Level (see the table). Limit: high rates, and value for money is its lowest guest sub-score.
Hotel pick: Hotel Opera (Booking listing read 3 November 2026): Cuesta de Santo Domingo 2, by the Royal Palace; the table above lists a double with terrace and hydromassage. Limit: few rooms of this type, so ask for that exact room when you book.
How to book well
- Filter for "hot tub" or "jacuzzi" and check the room description says it is inside the room, not in a shared spa.
- Read the cancellation policy: special rooms often have different conditions.
- Check the date: weekends and Valentine's Day sell out.
- Ask about use: some hotels limit night-time use.
