What the tour includes
The ticket covers the bullring and the bullfighting museum, with an audio guide in English and nine other languages. The museum shows bullfighters' suits, including Manolete's, sculptures, paintings and posters of the San Isidro fairs. Tiqets lists 10:00 to 18:00 Sunday to Thursday and 10:00 to 19:00 on Friday and Saturday, and states that you see no bullfight during the visit. The address is calle de Alcalá 237 (Ventas metro, line 2). The bullring is closed on 25 December and 1 January.

Bullfight days
On festejo days the tour stops about two hours before the show starts, according to the Community of Madrid: check the calendar before booking. To attend a bullfight you need a different ticket, sold by the plaza; read our page on bullfighting in Madrid and Las Ventas tickets. This page takes no side on bullfighting: it helps you choose the visit.
Ticket alone or with a guide?
The audio guide ticket is enough for most visitors, and its cancellation is more flexible than many tickets in the city. A private tour from EUR 80 only makes sense if you want a detailed story, questions answered or a tailored group. The ticket is also sold in a combo with a flamenco show (from EUR 52.25), which can help plan an evening.
Traps to avoid
- Festejo days. The tour ends earlier: the afternoon slot may be removed.
- The subject. Some travellers prefer not to visit a bullring: read the listing before buying.
- Children. A child rate exists (ages 5 to 12), according to resellers.
- Access. Take metro line 2 to Ventas or one of several bus lines.
Around and after the visit
Our page on the Las Ventas bullring covers the history of the place, and the San Isidro fair explains the season. To round off the evening, see a flamenco show at the Las Carboneras tablao on GetYourGuide.
